What format are the images in?
Medicalpix.com images are in JPG format unless otherwise stated. More file formats including transparent background PNG files will be available in the future.
Do you add images on a regular basis?
Yes, we are adding new images constantly. Click on "Newest Images" to see the latest images that we have posted.
Can I submit images to sell?
Right now the only images that we sell are the ones owned by medicalpix.com and its partners. In the future we intend to allow other contributors. You can register your interest to become a contributor by emailing your details and a single sample image to enquiries@medicalpix.com
Do you offer refunds?
Once your purchase is made we cannot offer a refund, as digital products cannot be returned. If you are unhappy with a purchase, please contact us and we will consider each request on a case-by-case basis.
Are there any restrictions on my use of the medicalpix.com images that I download?
Yes. While medicalpix.com offers great freedom and a wide range of uses, we do not allow the redistribution of our images, or allow the use of our images within products that are mass distributed in any type of archive format. We offer two levels of purchase, Standard & Extended use. Please see our Licensing agreement for further information regarding these license types.
If I purchase a subscription are there any other fees I will encounter when downloading from the site?
No. A purchased monthly or annual subscription allows you full access to download any images at the small (400 pixel) size on our site at no extra charge. You may purchase larger size images at additional cost, if required.
If I purchase a subscription does it automatically renew each month or year?
No. A purchased monthly subscription ends one month from the purchase date and does not automatically renew. To renew your membership for another month you will need to upgrade your account and pay via paypal. Annual subscriptions operate the same way and will expire one year from the purchase date.
Is account sharing allowed?
No, sharing an account is no different from distributing our materials to others. Individual accounts must be purchased by your friends and colleagues.
I bought a subscription, but it says I'm not activated. What do I do?
On rare occasions our merchant processors may not send the information of your transaction to our system, so your account may not be automatically activated. Therefore, if you have made a purchase of our yearly or monthly subscription and you are not able to access images at medicalpix.com using your details, send a support request to enquiries@medicalpix.com
I tried to buy a subscription but the system gave an error message to say my email is already taken?
If you already have a free account and you wish to upgrade to a Subscriber account, please first log in to your existing account, then select "Upgrade account" from the "Options" menu on the left hand side of the page to purchase a subscription. If you have any difficulties with your account, please send a support request to enquiries@medicalpix.com.
